Dolphin Bites Piercing

Dolphin bites piercing is a variant of the so-called “bites” piercings, done close together on the lower lip. This is a lip piercing that consists of two individual piercings positioned at a precise point of the lower lip. Dolphin bites are defined as two lip piercings performed on the lower lip near the center. These piercings are done close together so they are not located on the separate sides of the lip. Typical jewelry for Dolphin bites piercing are labret studs, just like for any other lip piercing. However, there are also people who prefer to wear Captive Bead Rings or other ring types in their Dolphin bites piercing.

In many ways, Dolphin bites piercing resembles another type of a bites piercing: Snake bites. Both are done on the lower lip and both consist of two individual piercings. However, the difference is in the placement and the distance between the individual piercings. While Snake bites are positioned far away from each other (one piercing on each side of the lower lip), Dolphin bites are done much closer together and nearer the center of the lower lip. This creates a unique look that is very attractive and very different from the regular Snake bites piercing.
